Rise Above Hair Studio is a salon in the heart of the South Side of Bethlehem, PA. Opening its doors in 2018, with flash art on the walls, good music and always a smile. We’re located in a busy neighborhood full of life and good food. With Lehigh University sitting at the top of the hill, we love meeting the new students each year. Community means so much to owner, Ashley Matlock.

Ashley, Kelly and Phee are three artist / stylists thriving on creating beautiful hair, education and diet cokes. The gals worked together many years ago and got the band back together in 2026. We’re here to give you a positive experience, listen to your needs and laugh along the way.

We are proud to be a part of the Green Circle Salon recycling program and recycle about 80% of what comes into the salon! All of our product lines are also vegan and cruelty free. We strongly believe in keeping our planet a cleaner and safer place to live.
